Live Music, Art Shows, and Late Nights: The Twin Fin Invitational Comes Alive in France
This week features the premiere of “Desert Rats” with William Aliotti, a live art & shaping night with Ozzie Wright & Ryan Lovelace, and a Friday film showcase hosted by Wasted Talent.
Hossegor, France 20 October – As the Twin Fin Invitational returns for its second edition in Vieux Boucau, the week will once again blend surf, art, and community, expanding beyond the ocean to celebrate the culture that surrounds it.
This year’s program unfolds across Hossegor and Vieux Boucau with three unique happenings that bring together riders, artists, filmmakers, and friends for a full week of creativity and good times.

October 21 — Movie Premiere: “Jungle Fever & Desert Rats”
Location: Le Rex Cinema, Hossegor
Time: 8:30 PM
Followed by: drinks & music with Christian Bolognaise
Location: Café de Paris (9:30 PM)
The week kicks off a two films premiere featuring William Aliotti and friends, Jungle Fever and Desert Rats, presented by Volcom. Both projects capture the raw, exploratory side of free surfing, mixing travel, desert lines, and classic twin fin flow. Expect a full house at Le Rex, followed by tunes and cold beers at Café de Paris.
October 23 — Live Shaping & Live Painting
Location: Chienville Surfboards, 803 Avenue des Remouleurs, Hossegor
Time: 7 PM**
Followed by: Free bee & Food trucks
A night to celebrate surf craftsmanship and art. Ryan Lovelace will shape live alongside Ozzie Wright and Pentagram Pizza who’ll be hosting an art show.
Expect music, food trucks, and free beers, the perfect prelude before the waves light up.
October 24 — Triple Threat Premiere & After Party
Location: Wasted Talent Boutique, 202 Avenue des Menuisiers, Hossegor
Time: 6 PM
After Party: 10:30 PM @ Coolin à la Plage
Monster Energy and Wasted Talent present TRIPLE THREAT — a trio of fresh surf films featuring Brendon Gibbens (“Cowabunga”), Juliette Lacome (“Tangolunda”), and Alex Knost (“Choice Glance”).
Screenings start at 6PM at the Wasted Talent Boutique, followed by an after party hosted by Coolin à la Plage that will carry the vibe late into the night.

Created by William Aliotti, the Twin Fin Invitational celebrates twin fin surfing, style, and creative freedom.
After a breakthrough first edition in Seignosse, the event returns this year with over 35 surfers from 14 countries, including icons like Tom Curren, Ozzie Wright, Chippa Wilson, Stephanie Gilmore, and Alex Knost.
With its mix of surf sessions, film premieres, and cultural activations, the Invitational keeps pushing the boundaries of what a surf contest can be, turning it into a cultural movement built on creativity, community, and style.
